One of the marks of the church is that we would be called a house of prayer, so we want to set aside time as a church to pray, to seek the Lord and worship Him! Come join us for our night of worship and prayer on April 18th at 6:30pm here at Candeo!
Have you ever wondered why the Bible doesn’t just talk about how to follow Jesus as an individual, but mainly speaks to helping Christians follow Jesus together as a group? In a culture that prioritizes self-sufficiency and independence above almost anything else, it can be easy to see the Christian life as a lone endeavor. Yet, the Bible most often talks about Christian living as that which is expressed in the life of the church.
Being the Church is a four week class designed to help us have a better understanding of, and appreciation for the corporate practices of the church. This class will also help you know how to grow in valuing and participating in the life of the church for the sake of your growth, and the growth of others.
The class begins April 7th and will meet every Tuesday from 6:30-8:00pm. Register HERE!

If you want to grow deeper in your faith and help others grow too, you should apply for Student Leadership! Student leaders lead Connection Groups and provide a space for their peers to do life together and to talk about Jesus. Applications close on March 5th. Fill out an application HERE!
As Christians, the Gospel (or Good News) of Jesus Christ is the very core of our faith and is the only hope for the world! Gospel 101 is a class specifically designed to help you not only know the gospel, but also know how to confidently share it with others.
We will be meeting Wednesdays on campus at 3:30 starting February 4th, freshman will be meeting Thursdays at 6:00PM in the Candeo Garage starting February 5th, and Wartburg will be meeting on Sundays at 1:00PM at Wartburg, location TBD, starting February 8th. All classes will meet for six weeks.

The Salt Company Conference is a yearly gathering of college students from university campuses across the country. Each year, we gather in Des Moines to reconnect as a family, to worship together and to capture a vision for what God will do next as new churches in The Salt Network are launched.

We will be spending time looking at Jesus and His Kingdom and how it is displayed in scripture, and throughout the weekend there will be fun activities for you to make lots of memories with your connection group and friends. This is a 6-week class designed to equip you to fully understand the Gospel, live it out daily, and feel confident sharing it with others. Gospel 101 will begin the Wednesday, October 15th and end Wednesday, November 19th. The cost is $10/person which includes all material. Sign up deadline is Sunday, October 12th!

Join us for our Good Friday and Easter services as we remember and celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ! Good Friday services will be Friday, April 18th at 4:30pm and 6:00pm. Easter services will be Sunday, April 20th at 8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:00am. If we want to be like Jesus, we have to do what Jesus did—and His life was marked by prayer and devotion to the Father. In the midst of busyness, distractions, and spiritual hurry, we need a fresh call to slow down and seek God. When we pray, God hears, and He answers. That truth should stir our hearts to draw near to Him with faith and expectancy. That’s why we’re setting aside this night—to give ourselves fully to worship and prayer, to meet with God, and to be empowered by Him.
